Software Engineering Conference (Russia) 2007 - SEC(R) 2007 will act as an international forum for in-depth and substantive discussion on the emerging technologies and methodologies being developed to overcome the challenges that exist in different areas of software engineering. This conference, as the previous one, is aimed to consolidate the local software professional community and to integrate it into the international software society.

The conference is targeted to software professionals, such as Project Managers, Software Architects, Process Engineers, Software Engineering Process Group Directors, HR Specialists, Business Analysts, Team Leaders, IT Managers, CIO/CTO, QA Managers, Senior Developers and etc. from Russia, Ukraine, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Armenia, the Baltic, other CIS countries, Europe, and the US.

Rick Kazman
Rick Kazman, visiting scientist at the Software Engineering Institute, professors in the Information Technology Management Department at the University of Hawai‘i System.
His primary research interests are in software architecture, design and analysis tools, software visualization, and software engineering economics. Rick also has interests in human-computer interaction and information retrieval.
Rick Kazman the author of over 100 technical papers and co-author of several books including the books Software Architecture in Practice (2nd edition appeared in 2003) and Evaluating Software Architectures: Methods and Case Studies. Please learn more.

Larry Constantine
Larry L. Constantine, IDSA, ACM Distinguished Engineer, is an award-winning designer and design methodologist specializing in visual and interaction design for software and Web applications. One of the pioneers of software engineering whose current work centers on activity modeling and usage-centered design, he has contributed numerous concepts and techniques forming the foundations of modern practice in software engineering and applications design and development. His award-winning design innovations include multiple patents in human-machine interaction.
His publications in both the computer sciences and human sciences include over 175 articles and papers plus 17 books, among them Software for Use, written with Lucy Lockwood and winner of the prestigious Jolt Award as the best book of 1999, The Peopleware Papers, and the classic text, Structured Design, written with Ed Yourdon. Steve Masters
Steve Masters
Steve Masters is the Competency Development Manager for the CMMI® Appraisal Team at the Software Engineering Institute. Since joining the SEI in 1987, Masters has been involved in developing, teaching, and practicing process appraisal techniques. His most recent work was as Project Manager for the development of the SCAMPI Lead Appraiser Body of Knowledge (SLA BOK) which has just been published as an SEI technical report.
Masters is a SEI-certified SCAMPISM High Maturity Lead Appraiser, has led or participated on over 30 class A appraisals, and is an instructor of the SCAMPI Lead Appraiser Training and SCAMPI B&C Team Leader Training courses. In addition, Masters is an SEI-authorized instructor of the Introduction to CMMI® and Intermediate Concepts of CMMI® courses.
